TO THE NEWLY ENGAGED COUPLE:
CONGRATULATIONS --- You are about to embark on
one of the most memorable experiences of your life. Now –
you are going to be planning your wedding day --- a one time
event that will linger in your memories for the rest of you
life. Therefore, make your plans one day at a time, one week
at a time and one month at a time. Be KIND to each other
during these stressful days ahead. In the scheme of things,
the wedding IS but ONE DAY in the rest of your lives. Soon,
very soon, you will be MR. & MRS.
FOR BRIDES:
The three most important things that you can do during these
preplanning wedding days ahead are 1) always keep your budget
in mind and 2) add all of the wedding expenses up at least
once a week (3) stay organized to the best of your ability.
Even if everything is in a canvas bag – at least, you know
where everything is. And of course you need a wedding
planner that keeps you organized and sane!
FOR
GROOMS: Be patient both with yourself and your
bride-to-be. Just bring your bride-to-be a single rose from
time to time. This lets her know that you really care and
understand what she is going through even though much of this
is beyond you. Try picking up a Wedding Planner and reading
it. I know you will be shocked to learn how much your
bride-to-be has to do!!

valuable information for men.
FOR
PARENTS: Look Out!! You are entering the arena
with your children, on one of the most exciting times of your
life. Let me warn you --- at times YOU are going to feel
unwanted. However, nothing could be further from the truth.
THEY do need you --- they just don’t know it yet!! So
lay-low but be ready to pitch-in. I can guarantee you that
when the going gets rough -- the first words you are going to
hear are "M-o-m-m-y".
FOR BRIDESMAIDS:
Be a friend, be cooperative and be there when the bride needs
you. If you have a criticism, be gentle, tactful, and
understanding.
AND EVERYONE ELSE:
-- BE QUIET !! All of you Grandmothers, Aunts, Uncles,
Cousins, Friends and Neighbors, offer your support and love,
but otherwise "mum-m-m-m-m-s" the word.
